About
My name is Rob McLoughlin, and I am a seasoned UX designer and strategist from Dublin, Ireland. With over six years of experience in the field, I have a proven track record of designing products, teams, and strategies that drive revenue and growth for companies of all sizes. I hold a MSc in UX Design and a BSc in Psychology from IADT Dun Laoghaire.
I believe that a good product comes from a deep understanding of the context of those that use it. A great product predicts needs before they arrive — surprising and delighting those that use it. I like to keep things simple and develop the details.

Mentorship
One of my favourite parts of gaining experience in the product field is helping others refine their skill and get into the industry. I am a mentor with the UX Tree, where I help new product people get better at their craft and find roles in the industry. I was thrilled to be voted Best Mentor in Round 5.
A Portfolio talk I gave in a UX Tree Conference in 2022. Starts at 01:43:30.
Cast Golf
A little web game where you have to get from one actor to another in as few casts as possible. New pair daily.
